Yield
1 serving
Ingredients
6 Walnuts
8 Almonds
4 Medjool Dates, Soaked in 250 ml water
4 Elaichi/Cardamom pods
Recipe Directions
Soak 6 Walnut halves and 8 Almonds in a cup of water (preferably in seperate cups) for atleast 8 hrs. Change the water after 1 hour, if you can. My observation is that Almonds are plumpier if we change the water couple of times. Discard the Water and remove the skin of Almonds (Walnuts also if you can, to get whiter milk).
Soak 4 Medjool dates in 250 ml pure water along with seeds of 4 cardamom pods. Soak atleast for 6 hrs.
Blend this with blanched Almonds/Walnuts for a minute or two. Enjoy. You can add little more water if you want to increase the quantity.
Tggoesraw's Thoughts

You got to drink this to believe this. Do not forget to add elaichi pods for flavor

"Discard the Water and blanch Almonds (Walnuts also if you can, to get whiter milk)"
...how do you do that and keep the almonds and walnuts live? Heat kills enzymes...thanks for your help.

Bluedolfin, yes it comes off very easily. It only takes a minute or 2 maximum, to peel skin from 8 almonds that are soaked overnight.

tg~ Does the skin come off the almonds just from soaking them without immersing in hot water?

Rawmama, Thanks for pointing out....it's language problem and I just googled and found blanching invovles immersion in hot water. What I meant is to peel the skin of Almonds/Walnuts

I Googled it, they are cardamom. It's a very strong spice, delicious but strong. I wouldn't use the 4 whole pods, just 4 seeds. This recipe sounds divine.
