I am a US Marine Veteran mom of 3 children. 2 are all grown up (sons 23 & 24 years old). My oldest son is in the Air Force. My daughter is the baby and she is the princess. I raised them by myself, with help from my Heavenly Father of course.
I have so many medical issues from stomach issues, fibromyalgia, migraines, knee issues, back issues and weight gain due to medications. I have been searching for a new way of eating since 2015. I did a similar cleanse back then and lost a tremendous amount of weight. I was almost 300lbs. Though I am tall and my weight distributes pretty evenly, my body just could not hold that much weight. I knew I had to make a change and I did. Then I got a promotion and moved across the country to NV.
January of 2017 I broke me foot and the weight started creeping up on me again. So here I am. I cannot lie, I am not sure I will stay completely on a raw diet yet but I know for sure that I will change the way I eat. It's been 8 days and I feel great. The first 3-4 days were the worst as my body was detoxing from all the crud I put into my body the past 2 years.
I have a young daughter and I want to be an example to her so I have to make a change and get healthy. I'm in love and want to be able to spend the rest of my life with him so that too is a motivator. Mostly, I want to be healthier for me. I feel better I can move better My mind is clearer. I can just enjoy life in general. Well that's me in a nut shell.
