I am an overcomer! Doc calls me her "walking, talking miracle."
I had a terribly abusive childhood that set the stage for young adulthood, my decision making process, etc.
After suffering every form of abuse, several TBIs & 3 major car wrecks, (the last 2 were less than 3 months apart in late 2011. The first, 23 yrs ago, resulted in a utility pole smashing through my driver window, breaking in half on the left side of my head. I died for several mins b4 bringing myself back w/convulsions) I finally found a great Integrative Medicine Doc. I was diagnosed w/14 herniated and/or ruptured discs in cervical and lumbar spine plus 14 autoimmune related illnesses. My 14&14. I've beat 7 of those, so far! I'm working hard to beat all of them!
After being diagnosed, I changed my diet, started supplementing, found the best chiropractor in this part of the world who employs LMTs, and I found Jackie, the best LMT he has.
It took 7 yrs to eliminate all sugar & processed foods from my diet, but it helped make me a new person.
I am now preparing to have meditation and yoga classes in my home. Yoga for people w/disabilities, inspired by Calm.com & the wonderful people there, like Meditation teacher, Tamara Levitt and storyteller, Phoebe Smith, who you can find on YouTube.
I love the Lord, my children, Lindsay, Ricky (who left this world last May 15, 2018) Joe, Alivia & Christy: grandchildren, Julien, Starla, Genevieve, Eloise & soon to be born grandson, Henrich?..& my pets, Looney Tunes the cat, and Lucky dog, both rescue animals.
