Yield
Makes about 26oz of smoothie
Ingredients
.33 cantaloupe, peeled
¾ cup water
5 ice cubes
1½ cup spinach (or other greens)
2 teaspoon agave nectar (optional)
Recipe Directions
I cut about 1/3 of the cantaloupe into about 2 inch cubes. I blended the cantaloupe, ice and water until it was smooth. Then I added the spinach, and I thought it needed a little bit of sweetening, so I gave it a dash of agave nectar – but that’s completely up to personal taste.
Maihio's Thoughts
By maihio We bought excellent ripe and juicy cantaloupes this weekend at our city market and i was inspired to juice and smoothie-ize them.
