Delicious, creamy, caramely flavor. Reminds me of milkshakes I had when I was a fountain girl at Friendly’s in high school! Approximate calories: 250

Recipe Directions

1. Place dates, coconut meat, and water in a Vitamix or other high powered blender and whiz away.

2. Add ice cubes about a minute into the process.

3. Pour and enjoy!

Yum - that sounds good too anmanoel! There are so many variations...you could add raw chocolate powder for a choco caramel shake, or chai spices for a chai shake.

If you use oranges try adding some coconut butter also, it will taste like a creamsicle...very rich and delicious!

Okay, I made something called "Orange With Ice" (my son's name for it) after getting the creamscicle idea from here & seeing a recipe for Orange Julius also on this site. I'll go post it now :)
