Yield
4-6 glasses
Ingredients
2 large young coconuts (Just picked from the neighbors' yard! Organic as it gets!)
1½ cups raw organic cashews (soaked for 8 hours)
1 organic banana (large, ripe)
4 large organic Medjool dates (Straight from a farm in the west; super soft, big, and sweet!)
1 teaspoon organic cinnamon (optional; gives it a kick!)
3 teaspoons organic raw agave nectar (optional; I like it sweet!)
Recipe Directions
1. Cut open the coconuts (Be careful. My yoga teacher chopped part of his thumb off!), pour out the water, and scrape out the jelly into the blender.
2. Add the soaked cashews without the water (rinse them clean first) to the blender. Blend for 15 or so seconds.
3. Then add the organic raw sweeteners: banana, Medjool dates, agave, and cinnamon!
4. Blend for another 15 or so seconds. (I don't like blending it too long.)
Healthymarcus's Thoughts
By healthymarcusThis shake is very similar to the ones you find at the store.
I took the ingredients off the container from Glaser Farms. They are an awesome organic raw food farm in Miami.
Depending on the consistency you like, you can either add more banana to thicken or more coconut water to thin out.
You could also add less coconut water, more coconut jelly, and another banana to make an ice cream of it. Super yummy!
Enjoy!
Marcus

I always see their stuff at the store. Whew! A pretty penny I'll say. They do have some stuff that looks just divine, however! Thanks for the recipe and all that you contribute!

Oh glaser farms thats where a lot of the raw foods come from that are at the Whole Foods I go to in Orlando. I wish I was closer and could just go there instead. Can you buy things straight from glaser farms?
