This is my version of "oatmeal". I use my juicer with the blank plate to get the perfect mix of creamy any chewy texture. Rinsing the nuts, seeds and groats with hot water before processing makes for a nice warm breakfast :)

Recipe Directions

Soak sunflower seeds, buckwheat and walnuts all together overnight. Soak raisins overnight in a separate container.

Drain seed/nut mixture and rinse with hot tap water to warm. Pass through masticating juicer using the blank plate. The mixture that comes out will be quite thick. Add soak water from raisins until desired consistency is achieved. Sprinkle in sea salt and cinnamon and stir in raisins.

Place in bowls and top with diced apple and a dash extra cinnamon.

Cinnamon Raisin Oatmeal

5 out of 5

I have had raw oatmeal made with groats before, but this was to die for! It's my new favourite breakfast receipe. I'll be running out to get more nuts and seeds so that I can have this all week. Absolutely loved your tip about warming up the nuts and seeds by running warm water over them to rinse them. I love eating warm oatmeal and this made me feel like I wasn't missing out.
