It taste just as spicy radish and can be marinated over night to moderate spice - though I like it as is. In this recipe it very light and refreshing and does satisfies my love for potatoes. This radish used a lot in Asian cuisine. In addition daikon has many health properties.

It is spicy by itself similar to other radishes. In the recipe however – it has a nice oomph, but not very spicy, unless you add jalapeños or such... worth while to try it, for sure! It was my first time preparing it.

Thank you for nice comments... it is good to let it sit for half an hour, after you sliced it and add some salt, while you preparing other ingredients. It is good right away and even better next day. It came out very good! Also, another time i shredded some carrots, goes well together with daikon.
