Ingredients

1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons macadamia nuts (soaked over night, rinsed)
5 organic Medjool dates (pitted)
1 organic banana (medium)
1/3 cup water
1 teaspoon Meyer lemon juice
Pinch of sea salt
1 tablespoon coconut oil

Recipe Directions

1. Combine nuts, salt, coconut oil, and dates with a small amount of water to form a nice creamy paste in a Vitamix or food processor.

2. Taste. Add banana and lemon if desired.

I wanted to make something delicious and a bit decadent to put on top of some sliced apples or berries and came up with this sweet and creamy treat.

I hope you will enjoy it too.

Use it over fruit, inside cookies, on top of cereal, or cakes for a rich and creamy dreamy flavor.

Banana and lemon juice were a second thought for me but made a beautiful, creamy, sweet whipped cream.

If you don't like the flavor of banana, it can be omitted and replaced with about 1/2 an avocado or just omit completely.

This will be beautiful atop sliced berries, apples, or maybe even in the center of a cookie or atop a cake.
