I love my green smoothies, but I don’t really like the idea of mixing fruits and veggies together in them.

I do like for it to be sweet though. What’s a girl to use? Yacon powder.

It sweetens without covering up the flavors. Great stuff.

Also super low glycemic for those that are concerned about that.

Raw spinach SHOULD be eaten with fruit! "Spinach - also inhibits iron absorption

"Spinach also contains oxalic acid (sometimes referred as oxalate). Oxalic acid binds with iron, hence inhibiting its absorption."

You can read about it here: http://www.healthcastle.com/iron-spinach.shtml

Does the powder have much taste to it?

I have tried Yacon syrup and REALLY did not like it at all(and I've pretty open to many things) so figured I would not like the powder either.

So I see there is already a rating for it, so someone must have made it and tasted it already. Why not let us know what you didn't like about it.

If you hang in there, you'll see what yacon powder looks like.

Yacon syrup is sometimes described as having a taste that crosses between apples and molasses. While the syrup has more of the molasses taste, yacon powder has more of the apple taste. Yacon syrup is very dark, and the powder is a very light color. The syrup and the powder are complete opposites. Yin and Yang really.

What is yacon power? What flavor does it have because right off this doesn't sound very good to me.
