Recipe Directions

1. Blend all ingredients in the blender until thick and fluffy. I did have to stop the blender and scrape the mixture down a few times.

2. Chill for about 1 hour.

3. Pipe as desired onto pie.

Evergreen's Thoughts

By evergreen

A spiced whipped cream perfect for ‘pumpkin’ pie :)

The pie is poemomm’s pumpkin pie. I had to use walnuts.

This is the crust, also from poemomm. Again, I only had walnuts, and I sweetened it slightly with a couple of dates. That is why my crust is darker.

Also, I think any nut could be used in this recipe, especially cashews or macadamias.

This can be changed to any flavor whipped cream by using different spices, and it is awesome with cocoa. :)

hi queenfluff!...they are scraps of the pie crust cut with mini leaf cutters, dehydrated along with the pie shell on parchment..but that maple candy sounds like a good idea!!!!

Wow! This looks and sounds fabulous. Anything I can use instead of chia seeds or a source? I don't know where to get them around here. (Portland, Oregon area)
