A spiced whipped cream perfect for ‘pumpkin’ pie :) The pie is poemomm’s pumpkin pie. I had to use walnuts. This is the crust, also from poemomm. Again, I only had walnuts, and I sweetened it slightly with a couple of dates. That is why my crust is darker. Also, I think any nut could be used in this recipe,...

hi queenfluff!...they are scraps of the pie crust cut with mini leaf cutters, dehydrated along with the pie shell on parchment..but that maple candy sounds like a good idea!!!!

hi redbird...i'm not sure about a sub for the chia seeds, i buy them in bulk at a co-op but maybe someone else can offer a suggestion or a good online source:)

Wow! This looks and sounds fabulous. Anything I can use instead of chia seeds or a source? I don't know where to get them around here. (Portland, Oregon area)
