I made this while celebrating my sister's birthday one evening. It’s absolutely delicious and I hope you enjoy it.

rawlizard, I soaked them overnight but I'm guessing 5-7 hours would be right.

This was awesome! I used cashews instead of macadamias (because that's what I had). Mine wasn't as pretty as the picture, but it certainly did taste good! I'll be making this often.

Blue-Eyes, that's awesome! I was going to use Brazil nuts too (have a bunch here) and I'm sure any nut would work well. I'm glad you enjoyed it as much as me!!

Hey bronwyn! Thanks for the comment. I'm from Alberta...the weather is not as cold as it should be this time of season, it's actually pretty warm. Similar to Toronto I think :)
