Radish_man's Thoughts
By radish_man“Energy Soup is the most important nourishment in the Living Foods Lifestyle” Ann Wigmore
I have suffered horrible cravings for all sorts of junk. I have tried everything, nothing worked. I was having terrible digestive problems so I began eating this all the time – due to its easily digestive nature and high quality balanced nutrient composition.
A magic potion – this delicious and nutritious soup has killed my vices one by one. Now all I crave is this stuff, I even eat it for breakfast. This recipe is based on Ann Wigmore’s original recipe, I have added a few extra ingredients (marked with a star)
My friends can’t stop gushing over my skin – they all want to know what product I use!! hehe This stuff is nothing short of a miracle, capable of healing any ailment when consumed regularly …
I have always been a rather unattractive child – All of a sudden people are stopping me in the street to tell me how attractive I am, even in a beanie and trackpants! Last week I got offered a modelling contract with an exclusive agency in Sydney. OMG!! - This recipe has changed resurrected health and energy and completely rearranged my face – in the space of 6 months. Please give this recipe a go and let me know what magic takes place within your life. I would love to know.
Peace and love always xx oo

Do you warm the soup at all or just serve at room temp? I am searching for some "warm" recipes for the cold winter.

hi there - I am new to all of this and wondering would it be ok to do this as a juice rather than blending it ? would it sacrifice nutrients other than the pulp/fiber? thx Amy

When I made this I also used water instead of rejuvelac. It does indeed have a nice, soft, creamy taste that's very emotionally calming. Unfortunately, I added a whole, big chili pepper, and it was too much. The soup was nice and soft at first, but eventually my throat was on fire and I had to drink half a bottle of water to calm it lol. Next time I make this, I will be more careful with the chili pepper. I used my Vita Mix for this, and if you blend it for almost one minute, the soup is nice and warm. That's a big advantage of a Vita Mix--warm, raw soup.

radish_man! I have been making a green smoothie with baby spinach and usually a little key lime, and SO MUCH has changed for me as well, I feel like this is heaven, this HAS to be heaven haha!! The spinach is creamy, pillowy when blended and the lime gives it a kick. I put a little warm water in to speed up it's effects. Other than bosc pears it's all I ever eat. I can't wait for the next moments of my life to see what they will bring. It's all good!

I just added a comment to the forum on skin (acne) that is running right now. This recipe was recomended in place of sweet green smoothies. I am going to try it in hopes of relieving my acne.

1 romain lettuce leaf? The only romain I know about comes in a box of little leaves. Is that what you mean?

I usually have it without the water - the tastes does ot vary.
The rejuvelac just adds a slight fizz and some claim it aids digestion.
Personal choice really.
The soup does take some getting used to. The first time I had it I was like
'F**k, this stuff is funky!'
After a few goes, now I really enjoy the stuff.
I add a few extra's like ginger and a sprinkle of brewer's yeast for a little extra taste.
I love having this for lunch because it does not leave me hungry at all for at least 5 or more hours.
To learn more GOOGLE ' raw energy soup ' ..there are many websites with people's experiences/testimonials and slight variations of the recipe.
Also: The raw seaweed that you use can be one or many - I just use whatever I happen to have in the house at the time. Nori, dulse - whatever man!

I didn't have zucchini on hand nor dulse flakes. I used kelp instead. Delicious! Oh, I didn't have Rejuvelac but had G.T.'s Organic Raw Kombucha. Yum, thanks for the recipe!

I did not make this as it was written,so I have some questions along with the feedback. I too have no rejuvelac so I used water and all the avocado I had was in the form of guacamole. I threw that in. Question. Does the rejuvalac changed the taste of it? Do the dulse flakes have a flavor. I added enough water to drink it as sitting and eating it as a soup did not work for me. It was not my favorite, but perhaps what I did changed the flavor so much that I missed it. Answers anyone please.

This recipe sounded so interesting, i gave it a try with only part of the ingredients and some other changes. It´s under Gooseskin Soup.
Fantastic; even without the Rejuvelac.

radish_man,
I'm in the process of making a batch of rejuvelac. Do you have any ideas on what to do with the sprouted grains once the rejuvelac is made? Can we just eat them? Or do we have to discard them due to bacteria?

I made this twice this weekend.I used just water the 1st time because I didn't have rejuvelac. I had a tough time with the texture and taste. I tend to make my green smoothies sweet so this is going to take some getting used to! The thing is though--It made me feel great! The second time I added lemon juice and it gave it a bit of acidity that the rejuvelac would have done. This evening,I was actually suffering the effects of a binge on bread and chocolate from lunch (jitters, ^ hrt rate, mental fog),so I decided to make it again (this is when I used the lemon). Within an hour I was feeling much better. The consistency is like pudding.Should you thin it or is this just personal preference?

Spring water is just fine - rejuvelac just gives it a little extra zing and helps digestion. There are plenty of recipes on the net.

I have never made rejuvelac is there a substitution for this- can you just use water? Except for that I'm not too sure about making the rejuvelac I love your story and want to try the recipe!
