Yield

Equipment
None
Ingredients
Apple Waldorf Salad raw
1 apple (obviously organic, I prefer fuiji as they are almost always sweet and crisp)
some soaked almonds (maybe 10 or so)
1 stalk of celery
1 spoonful of vegan mayo
cinnamon
Recipe Directions
chop up the first 3 ingredients into bite size pieces. I like those hand chopper things, or a little food processer, or by hand.
add the mayo and stir.
I like to sprinkle on some cinnamon
Missemy's Thoughts

This is something I came up with. I apologize that the mayo is not raw, you all know more than me, if you want to make your own great. Or omit. But it is something quick and ingrediants I usually have on hand. hope you enjoy.

Yes, I am sorry, I just realized. I just figured out how to edit it. blame it on the hep c, I ditz with the best of em. mean well though. I just cheated I guess and used grapeseed mayo that I buy. but great if you can make it yourself. I am just getting into this and know it's silly to expect to be able to do it all in the begining.
sorry for the confusion.

How did you make your mayonaise? Sunflower seeds and oil? I tried a recipe a couple of months ago that I never did get to emulsify properly, and was just really liquidy and oily. Now I just blend pine nuts and a bit of lemon with a bunch of water. It's not really like mayo, but it's still creamy.
Also, next time, maybe save the commentary for the end of the recipe or the comment section (or just post your story over in the forums), rather than the "serving" section. :-)
Oh, and do you really call this recipe Missemy? Or was that an accident?
Thanks for sharing your recipe! I've also had this sort of thing with jicama chunks, and it was yummy!
