Login to Community Signup for an account Login using Facebook<p>I’ve been a ‘mental’ raw foodist since birth, but never put my mentality into practice until fairly recently.</p> <p>Yep, that means I’ve been living in idiocy for roughly 33 years now, LOL.</p> <p>Oh well, as they say, “Better Late Than Never.”</p> <p>In all seriousness, I have always gravitated toward fruits and vegetables, but like most sinners never heeded sage nutritional advice until I hit rock bottom and realized I needed to change or I was going to suffer eternal damnation from bloat.</p> <p>Actually, my inspiration to go raw comes from an organic farmer named “Peta” whom I met on a Greyhound Bus en route from Kansas to Washington state. Peta introduced me to Quinoa, Kimchee, and all the delights of healthy eating – I was drinking a soda when I met her, and at the next bus stop switched it for some water? WOW! She really did have a profound impact upon me. Whatever fairy dust she sprinkled upon me sure did work because I have been eating goodness ever since.</p> <p>I’m not 100% raw, but I am 100% vegan (to the best of my knowledge) and I consider this a personal triumph. Onward and upward as they say…</p>
