Joined February 19, 2008<p>I go to Northland College in Wisconsin, and I am interested in anthropology and nature/the environment. I am drawn to South America, specifically the Amazon Rainforest and Amazonian cultures. I love fruit and running cross country.</p> <p>After being about 99% raw for a few months, I’ve decided that food should never become a dogma. Life is not about food; it is about how you treat yourself AND others, as well as nature and the environment. It is about being balanced with the Earth. I am now mostly raw, eating what I can uncooked, but also paying attention to what the Northwoods tell me, what farmers and Natives here grow, like wild rice and roots (which can’t be well digested when raw). My diet changes with where I am and my circumstances.</p> <p>Everything is connected by a great energy. You can’t be healthy if you’re surrounding environment is sick because of you.</p>
