Recipe Directions

Blend all ingredients together in either a food processor or blender. Drink up! If I want to make this the night before, I add lemon juice. I always hear this prevents oxidation. I don’t know if it matters or not, but it does give it a nice flavor as well. I store in glass and use tempered glass straws found on www.rawfood.com.

I don't add salt but there's no reason why you couldn't. I don't because my ankles turn into kankles. Lot's of edema, even with small amounts of salt for me.

I make a version of this, same thing basically just added cucumber (gives a little bit of a fresh taste). Freshly-squeezed juice from half a lemon is also wonderful!
