Ingredients
1 tablespoon maca
1 tablespoon carob powder
1 cup coconut water (from a young coconut)
1 cup young coconut meat (frozen)
1 cup banana (frozen, sliced)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 dates
Recipe Directions
1. Blend everything in the Vitamix quickly so it does not heat up. Pour luxuriously into glasses and serve with a straw.

By yogini2@americanyogini.comMaca makes it like a malted flavor; the carob plus vanilla gives it a hint of caramel.
Frozen coconut and bananas, which are a staple in our freezer, give it a real old fashioned ice cream milkshake feel without the nasty milk and cream, of course!
I had no need for added agave or sweetener.
These are all just perfect level of sweetness for us here!
It was brunch today and only one Vitamix to rinse and clean up.

Mmmmm, I want to make this sometime...I like to incorporate maca into my diet, here's one good way!

ohh i just made this delight there are no words!! bliss...i altered it a bit though cos only have old brown coconuts and never used any frozen ingredients or vanilla. it still turned out to be perfect, a new favourite
i also added a wee tsp of cacao, for old times ;)
