Delicious and simple chocolate-dipped strawberries. Good for special occasions. Of course, you may use any fruit you like in this. The combinations are endless. I just used what i had in the fridge! For the pictured bouquet, I dipped 12 strawberries, 6 blackberries, and had 5 plain grape skewers. I added about 4...

hi daniefon...that cacao coconut butter sounds great! i wanted to post this in time for mothers day so i just used what i had on hand.this was so easy i think a child could do it. the flower shapes out of pineapple with melon centers are beautiful but of course you need the cutters(wilton fondant cutters work well for that)you could also not dip the berries for red roses.i would also change the grapes to alternating red and green if i'd planned this!

I am excited for all the ideas! For our Mother's Day dinner, the guys are responsible to plan & provide the food. I'm single, but I talked my bro. into paying for the fruit so I can bring a huge edible bouquet! No edible flowers, but I'm going to have fun with the shapes, and my son wants me to do carmel-chocolate balls, too, so I may stick those in and not worry about dipping the fruit. I have a couple of mini cookie cutters (1 flower & 1 star) that I may use, and do grapes for flower centers; I'll post a pic as my avatar after Sunday. :) Thanks so much for the ideas!

wow - that looks just like one from edible arrangements! I helped out up there for mother's day this weekend, and I found out some of their "secrets" (not really secrets - just things you don't think about). They use a head of lettuce to stick the sticks into instead of styrofoam and if you chill the berries after they are dipped it gives a GREAT texture! Anyway this looks awesome - very pretty.

This is such an awesome idea! We are having a family Mother's Day dinner, and I was thinking of this, and then wondering about fruit shapes and edible flowers with it - you guys are great :)

I was going to send one of those edible arrangements to my mom. They were pretty expensive, and I could only imagine how they were preserved! I am going to try this, it is a great idea. I also found a product made by Artisana, it is a cacao coconut butter, it sounds similar to what you've made. Buying it readymade would be a time saver for me
. It hardens as it cools. I think pineapple would be good too, I have seen them cut into flower shapes.
Thank you for the great idea!
