These are GREATLY UNDERRATED! These are fabulous and turned out wonderful using "hulled" sesames. The key IS to let them sit...which I did for a couple hours. I made the "Cookies" with the goji jam and they are wonderful! *5 stars*!

I think my sesame seeds are the hulled kind - will it still work?

also, im not sure if the type of agave matters,i use great light one from www.organicnectars.com i think i did read that some people have trouble with agave drying in the dehydrator.

hi bitt,so sorry you had a problem.i have made these several times and the most important step is to let the mixture stand long enough to absorb all liquid.i have used all combinations of water/agave/maple syrup which only seem to alter the sweetness.once i rushed it, and didn't soak the sesame seeds, and just rolled them out on the teflex sheets, and they took forever to dry.the parchment paper seems to help them dry better until you can flip them.
