Delectable spicy and hearty topping for salad, or roll into a lettuce/ collard or nori wrap. Extremely easy to make and lasts for 3 days in the firdge. I use both stalks and florets, I simply peel the stalks first.

Recipe Directions

Chop up Broccoli into food processor, add soaked walnuts, spices and optional olive oil, and process until all mixed together. You can add a small amount of raw onion or garlic if you like them, instead of using onion powder. I prefer to use onion powder, since raw onion or garlic are both too overwhelming a flavor for me in most recipes. You may prefer to add more or less salt or seasoning, depending on your taste buds. The amounts that I posted are for a milder version. PS if you don’t have time to soak walnuts for several hours, simply start soaking before you start the recipe. PS Remember to dump the soaking water.

This is also good with avocado and a little lemon instead of walnuts, too!
