You have inspired me to write a smoothie I have most mornings. Great stuff. I do the papaya and pineapple and some other things. Honeydew I cannot find organic and is high on the pesticide list.

Melon dilemma: Frederic Patenaude says that actually, melon is fine as long as it is mixed with just fruits. The reason many people say to eat it alone is because of the speed at which it is digested - it's the fastest of all fruits (leaves the stomach in under 15 minutes I think, as opposed to 30 minutes for most other fruits). So all that could happen is that it is slowed down to 30 minutes with the other fruit BUT having said that I also read that ALL blended fruit goes through your stomach in less than 15 minutes...

I guess maybe try it and see?!
