This smoothie is thick and somehow reminds me of gingerbread. I guess it is the color and the spices. Although you may not agree with the flavor description, I hope you still find it to be yummy!

5 small dried figs
1 cup red grapes
1 cup water
1 tablespoon raw almond butter
1 pinch ginger
1 sprinkle allspice
1 dash sea salt
Recipe Directions
Combine all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Enjoy!

I LOVE this smoothie! It's different and I plan on using more red grapes in my shakes!

I was really looking forward to this one but I think it's mediocre... it's the figs I don't like, I think.

This was delicious!! And yes, it tastes like gingerbread. I used black mission figs and a penny-sized slice of fresh ginger, but I also have calmyrnas that I can experiment with next time. Thank you for sharing; this will be a nice wintertime drink.
