I have been vegan for 19 years and on-n-off of the raw diet since then too. The times I've been the most successful with the raw diet were when we lived in the tropics. We're currently living in the Appalachian mountains of North Carolina, but now that winter is upon us I'm considering moving back to my beloved tropical paradise. I just can't justify buying so many tropical fruits and nuts since they're grown so far away from here, and I don't think it's possible to be raw in the temperate climate eating only bioregionally. We have 9 acres of paradise for sale down in Costa Rica, if you would like to check out our blogspot here's the address: bamboohousecostarica.blogspot.com

Keep on rawkin y'all! Blessings, Laura
