Equipment
None
Found in:
Ingredients
3½ cups lettuce
1½ cups spinach
½ cucumber (peeled)
1 small Smith apple
1 Comice pear
Pinch of walnuts (soaked, dried)
1 tablespoon almond butter
½ lime
Water
Recipe Directions
1. I tend to layer the salad as follows: lettuce, spinach, and cucumber (thinly sliced).
2. Then I pour on the dressing (combine lime, almond butter, and enough water to modify desired consistency).
3. Top with pear and apple slices.
4. Squeeze the other half of the lime over the top of the salad (keeps the fruit nice and fresh).

I made this with what I had on hand. I didn't have the pear or cucumber but it was still good! Tasted close enough to candy apples for me and satisfied my sweet craving!
