Bdavis's Thoughts
By bdavisI needed mango chutney for a recipe but could not find one anywhere. So I used the ingredients for Major Grey’s Chutney but made it raw instead of cooked.

Mango Chutney
I made this chutney and it tasted great. I did not have a cup to measure the sultanas (no raisins in cupboard at time) but I just guessed a handful. Very good chutney, went down a treat and the boys (not raw) liked it so much, they finished it off! No better testimony than men quietly chomping their food.

this does look wonderful - quick ? - the next recipe uses this chutney - but differ in the raisin amounts - if i just make the chutney should i use 2c or 2/3 cup? thnx
