Yield
Roughly 16oz
Ingredients
3 medjool dates
1 tablespoon wildcrafted cacao
1 tablespoon wildcrafted maca root
1 tablespoon raw power powder (green)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
¼ teaspoon organic vanilla flavoring (or beans from one vanilla pod)
6 ice cubes
Water
Sweetener of choice (agave, yacon, honey)
Recipe Directions
1. Pit dates and place in a Vita-Mix.
2. Pour a heaping tablespoon of cacao powder over top, follow with a slightly more conservative tablespoon of David Wolfe's “Maca Power”, or simply use Maca Root. Then follow with a heaping tablespoon of raw power powder (the green kind)...I suppose you could substitute any hemp/protein power powder, but raw power gives it the signature coffee taste!
3. Sprinkle with cinnamon, add vanilla then put about 5 or 6 ice cubes, and cover with just enough water, maybe 10mm over top of ice.
4. Blend till chunky. Enjoy.
Nathan's Thoughts
By nathanA cold, chunky chocolate influenced energy elixer that has strong undertones of passion.
Best if this is made without coconut water as it gives it a “too sweet” taste that defeats its rich, spice heavy, ingredient list.
Albeit incredibly simple and easy to make, this will keep you moving all day long!

QT, David Wolfe's Maca Power (Not 100% sure on the "wildcraft" of it), or Alissa Cohen, which is wildcrafted. It is truly an essential addition to any diet, as it supplies a large amount of hemp protein!
Waterbaby, I've been loving raw food for two years give or take. It couldn't be anything but at this point.
