This smoothie has lots of ingredients, however it makes for a fabulous couple of supermeals. Essential ingredients are from Beet through Coconut Oil. The rest I add for fun. I don’t measure normally, so just adjust ginger and cilantro approximations to taste. (Pictures coming soon.)

Recipe Directions

Blend beet, apple, carrot, celery, ginger, and cilantro with Almond Milk (I prefer Young Coconut Water, but you could also use water.)

Next blend in fruit (Strawberries give a nice Pink color. Though you could use blueberries or kiwi, if you prefer) and coconut oil. The coconut oil gives the smoothie a nice round texture, especially if you are using coconut water.

Finally add superfood goodies. I add the remaining ingredients for nourishment. I really enjoy the flavors of Cinnamon and Cardamom. All of the seeds are ingredients that I have on hand. There is plenty of room to experiment here. Toss in some gogi berries and cacao nibs if you like. The taste of ginger and beet will be the most predominent aspects of this drink. Blend it up and Enjoy!
