Joined March 4, 2007
Hello

I am a daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mom, and mama (we’re expecting our 2nd grand baby in late July 2007).We have 2 children, both married, and I have been raw for approximately 3 years. My story … why I am RAW. My brother was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor and so we went on a mission to find alternatives to the main stream therapies. Through this time I was introduced to the RAW world and learned amazing things about the human body, and how it has been created to heal itself, providing it receives the proper nutrition and is able to absorb and assimilate it. Also the importance for supplementation as our soils are so depleted and contaminated. Both my brother and I went 100% RAW- overnight. What a ride!! The goal was 120 days TOTALLY RAW! We lost my brother Tim, about 76 days into this, however I continued. Although Tim passed away, his death was not a violent one as is the norm with this cancer.Tim was not on any meds or painkillers (which apparently is unheard of with this tumor) We kept him in the comfort of his home, and I, together with his wife, was involved in every aspect of his care. The R.N. that came in,the eve of his passing said that in her 25+ years of nursing she had never experienced anything like this. Her comment to us was “I don’t know what you have done but whatever you did, you’ll never know how much of a difference it made for him. I have never seen anything like this in all my years as a nurse!”

Along with being RAW he was doing high amounts of N-zymes and friendly flora (pro-biotics) and several other supplemental forms of nutrition.

Needless to say, as a result of this experience my life has been forever changed.I never want to have to attend another loved one in this horrible situation again! I believe that I can lead by example and this is my purpose. My husband has altered his diet to include much RAW and my children and grand children are learning more and changing every day.

We are powerless to change others, however it is our responsibility to change ourselves.

In and of myself I cannot change, however the God who created this universe, lives in me, and by his power I am able to do all things. And going RAW is , I believe, how he intended it to be from the very beginning.
