Recipe Directions

CRUST

1. Add walnuts into a food processor and pulse till almost a powder

2. Put the walnuts into a bowl and add the cinnamon, salt, and agave nectar

3. Rub your pie pan with a little oil (coconut oil), and press out the mixture into the pie pan, just like a cheese cake crust

4. Place in fridge.

CHEESE

5. Soak cashews in water for 4 to 8 hours

6. {lace cashews in food processor with lemon juice and pulse to a paste

7. Put cashews into a bowl an mix with coconut oil, agave nectar, and salt, and mix well.

8. Pour mixture into the pie crust and place back into the fridge for 6 to 8 hours to harden.

HONEY CHERRY SAUCE

9. Mix cherries with honey or agave nectar.

10. Mash cherries with fork or blend till smooth.

hmmm, I think there is something wrong with your ingredients? Several ingredients are listed 3+x. You might want to fix that.:)Otherwise, from what I can tell, it looks fantastic!

this does sound good! Have you tried this with other nuts? I don't like to use Cashews unless i have to. Maybe a Pine Nut, Brazil Nut mix?

This looks truly amazing. I've got some cherries in the freezer, I'm making this! I'm out of walnuts so I"m going to try pecans I think.

hey carrie6292, i have not tried it with other nuts yet but im sure that other nuts would work just fine... im thinking a more oily nut like a macadamien, or pine nuts, as long as you let them soak first anything would probably work fine! (:
