Beautiful vibrant purple sauce poured over fresh figs. A seasonal delight! It’s even better if you’ve been out picking your blackberries. They are in season just now over here in the UK.

Recipe Directions

1. Cut the figs into quarters and then slice into 1/8s. Place in a bowl.

2. To make the sauce, place blackberries, banana, vanilla, and salt into a blender. Add a little water (about 1/4 pint).

3. Blend and pour over figs.

4. Dust with lucuma powder or carob flour.
