I love truffles and I recently started to like halva too, so this is a great combo. I made mine with agave nectar (equal amounts that was called for honey) and it turned out fine. I also ran out of tahini so I ground up some sesame seeds and also added seom cold-pressed coconut oil to make it nice and creamy, they turned out great!

Looks fantastic! Very nice presentation, and I think the "bites" only adds to it. :-) There are a lot of halva recipes out there, but I think I'll actually try this one.
