½ cup or more of coconut water
Recipe Directions
let flax seed soak for a couple hours in the coocnut water. They should double in size and form a gelatin. After this that about it. Add anything you want to top it with like sliced bananas, cinnamon, raisins, dates, etc…

i think this is WONDERFUL! it dosn't break any food-combining rules like so many of the recipes on this site, and i can see how how it would actually simulate something like oatmeal or malt-o-meal- or something... WHICH GIVES ME AN IDEA! i wonder if anyone has come up with raw "grits" using this method...

Funny, I was just eating something similar with when I came across the recipe. I used ground flax and almond milk, with a bit of ground sunflower, too. Wish I had some bananas though!
