Simple recipe and no electric tools needed. Tastes absolutely delicious. I got this recipe on a card at my local supermarket – Price Chopper. I’m always on the hunt to find new recipes and modify them to raw.

Recipe Directions

1. In a large bowl combine first 4 ingredients. In a small bowl whisk together the vinegar, cider and honey. Add salt to taste.

2. Toss dressing with vegetables. (Optional – sprinkle with 1 TBSP finely chopped fresh parsley)

3. Chill until ready to serve.

Original recipe calls for 1 lb. of shredded cabbage (7 cups) and 2 Granny Smith apples. But I found that to be an awful lot of cabbage. I basically took a head of cabbage and just sliced off what I felt was appropriate for me. Original recipe serves 4.

This sounds so yummy. I live in a very warm climate and love refreshing foods. I'm making this for lunch tomorrow. I think I'll add raisins.

I tried this with some leftover sui choy I had on hand (to replace the cabbage). It turned out excellently, I'm going to go make some more now!
