Yield
Serves 2-4, depending on the size of the coconuts
Ingredients
2 young coconuts (meat and milk)

¼ cup agave
Recipe Directions
1. Put everything in the blender for about 3-5 minutes. You can adjust the sweetness and the chocolatiness with agave.
Redhouse's Thoughts
By redhouseReminds me of the malts I used to get as a kid.
Sometimes the shake is really thick and sometimes not, depending on the thickness of the coconut meat.
Sometimes I add a little water to adjust the consistency.
As always with raw, experiment with the proportions.
This is an awesome pickup in the middle of the day.

Yeah it's the maca... I live with this lady and we play around with this recipe a bit. Sometimes there is some carob in there and sometimes a little mesquite, sometimes all 3. Just make sure if you use mesquite to only use enough to ad flavor because this stuff can take over a smoothie in no time. Carob works really well with chocolate I've found.

Maca can give things a "malty" taste. I love the stuff!

i've tried this recipe without the maca but with everything else and vanilla in addition and i added ice blended in my champ blender (similar to vitamix) and the texture came out malty like milk shake. so, you don't need the maca.
