The pear makes this drink shockingly sweet. This is a tasty way to get some greens.

Recipe Directions

Peel the pear if it is not organic, wash your greens and chop off the ends if needed. Juice the Pear, chard and spinach first. After that is complete add a dash of tumeric.

I like the taste the tumeric gives it. If you do not like tumeric then you can omit it. I am doing a juice feast and this juice recipe I threw together taste sweet to me, so if you find it too sweet then either add more greens or omit one pear. If you feel it is not sweet enough add another pear. There are many types of pears, and I have used two different types but I do not remember the kind. You also have the option to substitute other greens or omit the Chard. I got the idea from a recipe that was a salad with pear and curry, tried it out as a juice and liked it.

Anytime. I was juicing daikon and ginger and forgot I juiced the pear and spinach I was devastated but the drink came out great. It gave it a spicy kick. So anyone who wants to try it then go ahead. I usually only juice about 1 oz of juice from the daikon and ginger, so I would not use more than that.
