Yield24 cookies (2 inch size)
2 cups oat groats (grind until fine like flour)
¾ cup maple syrup or agave
½ cup carob chips
½ cup almonds (coarsely grated)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 apple (shredded)
1. Put all ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix well.
2. Build into cookies on dehydrator sheets. Dehydrate the cookies at 90 Fahrenheit for 12 hours or until they are your preferred texture.

I adapted this recipe from Juliano’s cookbook.
The original recipe called for raisins instead of carob chips. Same amount. But my family, except me, doesn’t eat raisins.
Everyone in my house eats it, even the SAD eaters!
