Yield
Makes about 8 crackers or one tray in dehydrator
Ingredients
1 cup sunflower seeds (soaked overnight)
1 medium zucchini (chopped)
5 sun-dried tomatoes (soaked)
Small handful of fresh basil
Recipe Directions
1. Soak everything you need to soak.
2. Put everything in the food processor.
3. Blend it until smooth but you can still see little chunks.
4. Spread onto Teflex sheet in dehydrator.
5. Dehydrate about 12 hours then flip, dehydrate maybe 6 hours more until dry.
6. EAT! I like it with avocado spread.
Bitt's Thoughts
By bittI love the flavor in this bread. And the texture was chewy, not too hard.
This recipe can be 100% raw if you sun your own tomatoes of check the source to find out if they are truly raw.

I'm going to make this as soon as the zucchini is big enough - we have two tiny ones growing in the garden :)

richmarta: accrding to the USDA Nutrient Database (great website for all things nutrition, btw), 5 pieces of sundried tomatoes weighs ten grams, or approx. 0.3527 ounces. Hope this helps!

Sounds delicious. Can you help me, how much, in weight, are 5 sundried tomatoes? My store carries sliced and julienned (sp?). Thanks so very much.

This recipe can be flagged as 'pure' to indicate that it contains all raw ingredients. Tomato and basil bread sounds lovely. How thin you you spread the mixture on the teflex sheet?
