Persimmon Gelée

So for tonight’s dessert, I am serving friends this incredibly simple and light Persimmon Gelée.

Any fruit can be used but persimmons have a sugar sweet taste that many autumn fruits do not possess.

Plate with honey and dusted cinnamon!

Low Sugar Mint Chocolate Drink

This drink is adapted from Everyday Raw by Matthew Kenney and is delicious!

The sugar content is very low (about 16 grams per serving from the agave).

The original recipe used more agave, which you can if you like!

It's not very minty so if you want more mint flavor, add a lot more mint leaves. ;)

If you're turned off by opening a coconut, don't be! It gets easier the more you do it and it's so worth it.

Not as thick as a chocolate shake but is delish and very similar!

Raw Smoothie Week

Similar to a juice fast, a raw smoothie challenge is meant to be undertaken for a short period of time, like for a few days or a week maximum since smoothies are not nutritionally complete. They can be a great way to transition between unhealthful eating to cleaner eating.

This challenge also includes unlimited fruit as snacks in between smoothie meals.

Raw for Food Lovers Week (Intermediate)

This week is perfect if you already have some experience making raw food. We get a little more advanced this week, making slightly more complex recipes like pies and cakes.

No dehydrator is required this week though.

This raw food meal plan is perfect for you if you are extremely busy and thrive on repetition. The idea behind this meal plan is that you will quickly get familiar with these basic raw food recipes through repetition.
