Raw Mini Ice Cream Cakes

Our dad brought over a tub of organic chocolate ice cream for us the other day, and it has been staring at us for the past 2 days, and we can't eat it because it has cream in it!

We eventually broke down and had a couple bites each and then locked it in the freezer.

Who knew ice cream could cause so much distress?

We handed it off to one of our roommates and fed our crave by making mini ice cream cakes! We made two versions: Banana-Mango and Cinnamon-Chocolate.

Spicy Cashew Broccoli Stir No-Fry

I just made something similar to this for dinner out of leftovers I had in my kitchen, so the measurements I give below are estimates for making a full serving (mine was about 0.5).

As a warning, I like very spicy foods, so adjust the chili sauce as necessary.

If you just came home from work and whipped this up, eat it!

If you have some time to spare, let the mix sit for at least 20 minutes. The longer it sits, the better the veggies can soak up the flavor. Enjoy!

Raw Hemp Milk

A sweet alternative to milk.

Chocolate Cake with Bananas

I made this cake for my birthday last week, and my raw friends found it really delicious. I like it too, because I love the combination of bananas and chocolate. If you do not like bananas, you do not have to include them.

While making the cake, you can enjoy the "leftovers" as delicious raw drinks: The water from the 2 young coconuts, as well as the soaking water from the dates which is nice and sweet.

Wok This Way: Stir No-Fry for Dinner Tonight

Stir fries always taste great, but they literally cook the life out of the veggies and are slathered with so much oil and seasoning packets (sodium overload) that you can feel the greasy layer on your lips.

So here's a great recipe if you:

a. Don't have power (none necessary for this dish)

b. Haven't eaten your veggies (you can add a ton of your faves here)

c. Don't want to cook (leave the wok in the cupboard)

d. And want something uber healthy, full of antioxidants and nutrients, and deeee-licious
