Yield2 dozen macaroons
2 1/2 cups large coconut flakes (dehydrated)
1 1/2 cups cacao or chocolate powder
1 cup agave nectar
1/3 cups coconut oil or coconut spread
2 teaspoons vanilla powder
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl.
2. Place a non-stick dehydrator sheet on a dehydrator rack.
3. Using your hands or a spoon, make small macaroon balls (1.5 inch diameter) and place on non-stick dehydrator sheet.
4. Dehydrate at 115° Fahrenheit until desired dryness (12-24 hours).
If coconut oil or spread is hard, place in a dehydrator at 115° Fahrenheit until soft.
