This creamy, light, frosty shake is so delicate tasting, almost like ice cream. It is a beautiful cream colored drink, naturally sweetened, and perfect for breakfast.
-
Yield
2 shakes
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups almond milk (strained)
1 banana (frozen)
teaspoon vanilla extract
Recipe Directions
1. Break the frozen banana in two pieces.
2. Blend banana pieces with the almond milk and vanilla until completely smooth. You can add up to five ice cubes if desired.

Mmmmm. I doubled the recipe to make enough for 3 people. It turned out a little thin but really tasty. I might do it next time with the right measurements for cup, as I just used a coffee-cup from my shelf this time. Really refreshing breakfast, and worth doing.

Hehe no worries annabelle! Here's an idea: Try freezing the meat of a quarter of an avocado in an airtight container, and adding that as well as a teaspoon of raw honey and a few tablespoons of frozen cherries if you can get them. I would imagine that would be just as incredible as the banana...
