Ingredients

1 Cup tightly packed basil

1 T walnuts or pine nuts

3/4 C mashed avocado

1 Tb lemon juice

1 Tsp minced garlic

1/4 Tsp salt

2 Tb water

Recipe Directions

Blend all in food processor on high for 20 to 40 seconds. Then add water until desired consistency.

Made this tonight and love it! Pesto is such a great way to use up my fresh basil that is starting to wilt and I was almost out of EVOO, but had 4 avocados. Awesome. Thanks.
