Meshuganahrach's Thoughts
By meshuganahrach I have been trying for some time to not eat as many nuts and seeds and eat more greens.
So far so good.
This recipe came to me when I noticed that I was growing lots of basil in my garden!
I hope you enjoy it as much as i did!

I think if you left out the yeast it wouldn't make that much of a taste difference. It may taste a little less "cheesy." But definitely post your results!

I made this pesto using bunches of basil, cilantro and parsley. Very tasty and useful when you have all those herbs to use up. I am also going to freeze tablespoons of the pesto in the ice cube tray to keep it fresh longer. Then you just need to pop one cube out and let it thaw for an individual recipe for one. Use several for a larger recipe.
