Yield
2 cups of nut milk
Ingredients
½ cup raw Brazil nuts (soaked overnight, drained, rinsed)
½ cup raw almonds (soaked overnight, drained, rinsed)
5 cups water
1/8 cup raw agave nectar (using maple syrup gives it a really nice flavor, although it's not raw)
Recipe Directions
1. Blend everything in your Vitamix except the sweetener and strain it through a nut milk bag. I squeeze it really tight so there’s a lot of milk and the pulp is crumbly and drier than most.
2. Put the milk back in the blender with the sweetener and there’s your liquid whipped cream. You may need more sweetener.
Rawclaire's Thoughts
By rawclaireThis is the creamiest, richest, most delicious nut milk I have ever tasted.
Your non-raw friends will think they’re drinking liquid whipped cream. Seriously, it tastes like that.
