Yield
1 smoothie
Ingredients
1 handful of baby spinach
1 banana (frozen)
1 piece fresh ginger (I like ginger a lot, so I added a 3cm long piece)
1 ripe peach
1 cup almond milk (can use coconut water or water)
Recipe Directions
1. To make almond milk, add 2 cups of soaked almonds to 6 cups of water to a blender. Blend on high speed. Filter the liquid.
2. Blend all ingredients in blender. Enjoy.
Nataboo's Thoughts
By natabooI made it this morning and man, it's delicious!
This yields 1 1/2 liters of almond milk, which keeps well in the fridge for quite a few days. However, you can always reduce almonds and water to a smaller amount.
You can reserve the nut pulp for raw cakes, desserts, pates, or any other recipe requiring almonds.
