The Rawtarian's Thoughts

By The Rawtarian

This is my first fifth raw Christmas. One of the most important Christmas food traditions in my household is eggnog, so I knew I had to find a suitable SAD eggnog substitute.

There are no eggs in this recipe, but the coconut oil is the secret ingredient that adds the richness that we all know and love re: holiday eggnog. (If you don't have coconut oil, don't use any other oils as substitutes. Simply omit it.)

Think of this as an instant raw eggnog recipe. It's very rich and festive. Enjoy!

Just a thought. I recently discovered and HCG Diet treat made from cocoa, and coconut oil. Equal parts, (1/2 C each) melt, mix, pour on paper plate, refrigerate. When chilled you can break it into pieces, BUT one does have to eat it pretty quick or at least put it on a plate because the warmth of your fingers makes it react pretty quickly. Maybe you can come up with something?? lol (Or perhaps already have, this is my first post on your site, and first visit). They call it "Chocolate Delight" (YouTube! :)

Hi PP! That sounds yum! Probably "eating pretty quick" is NOT a problem in this house!! I do have something like that in my dessert book ebook, raw chocolate bars! Except I also sweeten it. Does the recipe you're describing use any sweetener?
