The Rawtarian's Thoughts
By The Rawtarian Don't believe me that this could taste as good as old-school SAD (standard American diet) ranch? Just try it. I dare ya :)
Raw ranch dressing is another one of those things that I cannot believe it's possible to replicate raw. But, hallelujah, it is possible.
There is nothing like a nice fresh carrot dipped in raw ranch dressing, no?
And I have even had the pleasure of dipping my raw vegan pizza in raw ranch dressing. "Cue heavenly harp sound...."
So here's my favourite raw ranch dressing recipe for you... I use it basically like a normal salad dressing or dip. I usually make one batch and serve it as a vegetable dip, salad dressing and maybe even on a few more exciting things, like in a raw vegan BLT sandwich or dip raw pizza in it if I am feeling particularly daring.
Of course, you also know that the best vegetables to dip in raw ranch dressing are carrots and broccolli, right?

Raw ranch dressing recipe
I have been majorly missing ranch dressing since going vegan and this is AMAZING - with no guilt! I don't have a high speed blender so I used a food processor. It came out a little runny with the cashews not super-smooth, which worked fine for salads but next time I will try processing the cashews to cashew butter first then adding the rest of the ingredients, which will hopefully make it smoother and thicker. Even as-is though it is wonderful and helping me enjoy my salads.

OMG - Just made it and LOVE this recipe. This is one of those recipes that will a saving grace from the dairy based ranch dips we have decided to stop purchasing. Thank you!!! (I used fresh dill and it was wonderful)

Hi Wendy,
Yes definitely! Refrigerate :) It needs to be refrigerated. It'll solidify a bit, but you can let it sit out for a few minutes before eating and it'll soften again

Raw ranch dressing recipe
Wow! As usual I am blown away by your recipes. This is great as dip, on salad or like mayo on a wich. I also made vegan cobb salads for my boys with this and they LOVED it! Also wanted to say that your pizza crust using almond pulp is the BOMB. Love using them for guacamole, little sandwiches and raw cheezes. I have yet to make pizza with it, but I plan on it! Best recipe using the pulp btw! Thank you, thank you , namaste!!!!
