I would only use unhulled and I've never heard of otherwise.

What kind of maca did you buy? Is it a big canister and does it have a lot of different nutrients in it? I need to buy some but they don't sell it near my moms house where I am dog sitting right now. I will probably be going out of town next week back to Arizona so I can't really order anything right now. Looks good!

Of course, it's mostly for supplementing, not for flavour...

Can one use unhulled black sesame seeds? I can't find any hulled on internet.

I was so surprised with the flavour of this! I was really expecting it to taste like a green smoothie, but...it tasted chocolate-y (from the nibs)! It was very thick, too, and I adore thick smoothies right now, so it was right up my alley! Had it for breakfast. And maca is great for smoothies--what a superfood.

This is fantastic. It took me a few sips to get used to the texture and the taste but now I'm hooked. Any the added bonus....I had piles of energy for the morning. Thanks very much - this will be a regular for sure.

YUM-MY! Definitely the most soul satisfying green smoothie I've ever tasted. I did mine with kale and it turned out good too.
Thanks for the inspiration Morning theft!

I got the Navita kind... It comes in a bag. I believe they all have lots of nutrients... Not much of what is in this smoothie would be from the maca, I think it's the black sesame that deserves all the praise.

Hehe, I was in such a chipper mood, I was being a little cocky and annoyed her a bit. But I explained I was just happy and she calmed down. It was all just funny.
