Yield
Serves 4-5 cups
Ingredients
2 bananas
3 carrots
2 cup spring mix or any greens you choose
2 cup filtered water
A couple of ice cubes (optional)
Recipe Directions
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
I used a Vitamix for this and it came out really smooth. If using a regular blender, you may have to blend for a while until it’s as smooth as you like, or maybe try juicing the carrots and then adding them to rest of the ingredients.
Natashapl's Thoughts
By natashaplI love carrot juice. I also love bananas. So one morning, I decided to experiment and see if what would happen if i combined both in a green smoothie and the result was really good. Let me know what you think. ;-)

So, I have had this up on my desktop for about a week. I finally had both carrots and bananas. It tastes great. I had to add a couple of dates because I didn't wash all the earth off of my carrots. Also, used almond milk instead of water. It does have a bit of a texture, so if you like it really smooth, then juice the carrots. We will make this one again. This recipe makes a lot. We have leftovers for breakfast.

Hmm... is there a way to edit comments? I just noticed that my last post doesn't make much grammatical since.... Ah well, I'm sure you get my point. ;-)
